Still in a rush to finish up some projects before the new baby gets here (since today's the 7th if she comes on time I've got exactly 2 months left!) and I'm proud to show you something actually completed! lol Kathie from Just a Happy Housewife won a custom cupcake scarf during my blogoversary giveaways and here it is!
She picked pink and brown for her colors and I'm very happy with the finished result. (Let's hope Kathie is too, LOL)
In other news, I've been drooling over Debbie Stoller's Stitch Nation yarn for a while now but have been trying to use up the yarn in my stash before spending money on new yarny goodness. Well, I finally decided to take the plunge and add some Stitch Nation to my dwindling supply:
Such bright, rich colors - I couldn't decide which ones to get so I got one of each color. lol Plus, it was on sale so woo hoo!
Actually, I think this is the first bit of wool yarn I've ever had in my stash before. Not even sure what I'm going to do with it but I'm excited to start playing with it!
Have you added anything fun to your crafty stash lately?

You are so talented, that looks fabulous!

ReplyDeleteYARN!!! I'm heading over to KnitPicks and spiffing up my stash right now! Honestly, I should be taking on projects that bust up the stash I've accumulated over the year but I always vote for new yarn over old yarn. ;)
